The cake!!!! Bob was thrilled with his Star wars cake! not my best effort but thats OK!!
He had a few friends over on Monday to help him eat it!! 
Notice the short sleeves!! The weather has turned very quickly and the summer is well on the way. Woohoo!

This has to go down as one of the things i never thought i would do! I had to bath the new chooks! they stunk!! the poor things were in a shocking state when the arrived, 2 of them have been de-beaked and they really were sad! They are perking up and are really quite sweet. This is Bobs chook "Merrylegs" (we are reading Black Beauty again!).

This is Toby and His chook "Lipless" (see the lack of top beak)! the third chook is mine! "Octavia"! she is not pictured today!!

Lipless had to go into Quarantine today as she is a bit crook.....yes crook chook! Toby said he would just sit and sing to her while she settled in! and he did!
Here is a happy Merrylegs! she has settled in so well, they have only just started to come out of the chook house as they seem unused to the great outdoors and she loves it!!
